Hydrofacial

A hydrofacial is a multi-step treatment that uses water and gentle vacuum suction rather than manual pressure: it cleanses, exfoliates, extracts congestion and infuses serums in a single pass. It suits every skin type, including reactive skin that flushes after manual extractions, and there is no downtime and no peeling afterwards — which is exactly why it works for people who cannot disappear for three days.

The appointment 4 stages
  1. 01

    Skin analysis

We look at what your skin is doing that day, which is also how we decide which level of the treatment you actually need.

  2. 02

    Cleanse and exfoliate

The surface layer is lifted away with water rather than abrasion.

  3. 03

    Extract

Gentle vacuum suction clears congestion without the pressure and redness of manual extractions.

  4. 04

    Hydrate and protect

Serums go in while the skin is open to them, then SPF. You leave looking better immediately, not in three days.

Questions

Hydrofacial, honestly

How is a hydrofacial different from a regular facial?
A regular facial is done by hand, so extractions rely on pressure. A hydrofacial uses water and suction instead, which clears congestion with far less trauma to the skin and rehydrates as it goes. If your skin flushes badly after manual extractions, this is the better option.
Is there any downtime?
None to speak of. You may look slightly pink for an hour or so, and unlike microneedling or a peel there is no flaking afterwards. Most people go straight back to work.
Can I have one before an event?
Yes, and it is one of the few treatments I am happy to do close to the day. Two to three days ahead is ideal, though the day before is fine if we keep it gentle.
How often should I have one?
Every four weeks suits most people, which tracks the skin’s natural turnover. If we are clearing established congestion we may start closer together and space out once it settles.
Which level should I book?
Book the regular one if you are not sure. Which level suits you gets decided once I have looked at your skin, and I would rather move you up on the day than have you pay for more than you need.
